Brilliant minds think alike?
I googled this to see if something like this really existed. The internet literally has everything, and I am glad. Click here for ALL Zep. Art!
In my Script Analysis class we have been studying Romeo and Juliet.
The Leo film version has been voted the greatest love story of all time by the UK population
Rightfully so.I mean seriously..has there EVER been a better romeo than THIS?

Speaking of Romeo, I'm hanging out listening to Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved A Man" (download)
Aretha and Plato are some brilliant people.
Our boy Plato talks about (in rhetorical context, but whatever) a character called the "Evil Lover"
He says that this type of lover loves their mate as a wolf loves a lamb. But the most interesting thing he says is that--An evil lover never allows its mate to have an honest examination of it's alternatives.Got me thinking, next man I date-I am going to encourage him to check out all of his alternatives. What better way to know he truly wants to be with you? If he still chooses you instead of he seemingly greener grass, well, does that mean you have a loyal man? Maybe I haven't thought this one all the way through but, I would say so.
But what if a boyrfriend let ME do that?
Mmmm, about that. Well then I guess I would really have to be in love. Wait, that seems way too simple.

School is robbbing me

School is taking over my life at the moment.
Yet I have still find time to waste time on this site
My favorite is
"This is no joke.
Give me big bills.
No dye packs!
I will check for dye.
It’s not your money,
don’t hesitate."
or
"I have a gun in my bag.
Give me $5,000 please.
Thanks a bunch."

Celestial Jungle Disco
Fontän (Jesper Jarold and Johan Melin) is a duo from Sweden that make some great music. Their cosmic rock sound debut was in 2006 with their album "Aktionskammarn" , but it was tracks from their latest album “Winterhwila” that caught my ears. Though "psychedelic journey" music has become all the rage, I think Fontän's CD is a worthy investment.
Click Here for a song by Fontän that reminds me of the AMAZING picture below.

Sufjan Stevens' movie
Its not exactly breaking news by any means that Sufjan Stevens, our favorite little Detroit indie boy, is releasing the BQE package exactly one month from today. I can't help but think of my roommate. She has been mastering the lost art of Hula-hooping recently in our living room. I wonder if this was her inspiration.
But, get ready. On October 20, 2009, the BQE package will be released. It includes the soundtrack on CD, a DVD of the film footage, and a 40-page booklet with liner notes, photographs, and a "stereoscopic 3-D Viewmaster® reel." There'll also be a limited-edition double-vinyl edition on 180-gram vinyl with a 32-page booklet which also comes with "a 40-page BQE-themed Hooper Heroes comic book."
Didn't Coheed do a comic book that still hasn't been released?

I wonder.
Mackintosh Braun is a glitch-pop electro duo from Oregon. Most of their tracks can be found for free online, so if you haven't already added them to your itunes listenbrary, give this a shot and think it over.

MJackson
GET A GRIP, MACIE! I cant figure out why I am having such a hard time with the recent death of Jackson. Since I clearly need to regain composure, this is a short and sweet one post on it- and its over with. I love Michael Jackson, have always been a fan (thanks mom) and will always adore and love both him and his music. I pray that his spirit is with the Lord.
I'm a little dramatic.
So shoot me.(up with propofol)
"Shiny And Sparkly. And Splendidly Bright. Here One Day. Gone One Night. Gone too soon"

Tunes
The week/weekend at home was a productive one.
Successfully moved my uncle from point A to point B in the mornings, worked on my line in the afternoons, and spent time with my family and friends at night. Really prepared for the Europe trip since I'll have a matter of days between exams and departure. I couldn't be more ready, or excited!
I just get so homesick for the beach sometimes.
If this weekend was a mixtape in no particular order, this would be it.
enjoy =)
" In the Sun"- Joseph Arthur
"Sea Out" -Guillemots
"America"-Simon and Garfunkel
"Woods"- Bon Iver
"The Air We Breathe" - Figurines
"Summertime"-Billie Holiday (Organica Remix)
"Come Home"- One Republic
"Paris"-La Rocca
"Let Me Go Home"- The Beach Boys
"Rolls So Deep"-Aqualung
"All My Loving"- The Beatles
"Everything is Everything"- Lauryn Hill
"Epic Last Song"-Does It Offend You, Yeah?"

My Goal
Is to not have this turn into a
"Blahg"
However, I'm starting this puppy up right before exams and my study abroad to Europe, so, I expect this blog to have a slow and painful birth as I wont have a ton of time at first.
However, Here is a gem that came up on my "Macebook" new feeds as B-roc's status.
Since Gossip Girl IS my guiltiest pleasure...naturally I was pumped to see that Leighton( Blair) put some love on a track, and not only that, its pretty good if you ask me.
